Le Art

Hello there,

Lucky me just by swapping the letters ‘A’ and ‘E’ in my name, ‘Laert’ becomes ‘Le Art’. That’s what I’m calling this virtual exhibition, showcasing artwork created between 2012 and 2024.

Built in Unity, it represents my journey over the years as I explored new tools and techniques. Inside, you’ll find typographic experiments, pattern designs, illustrations, animations, and more.

Some of the tools I used include Unreal Engine for some of the 3D renders, Cinema 4D for the illustrations, and TouchDesigner for the patterns.

‘Tangled Words’ is the collection that’s always been special to me as I’ve been developing it since 2012 and still return to it to create new compositions.

In this series, I explore the complexities of words and their meanings. Each piece highlights the emotions evoked by the dense strings forming each word, their colors, and their tangled or unraveling forms. Love appears bold when thick strands intertwine in chaos, yet it fades as the strings grow thin and fragile, almost disappearing.
