The Runner

A short interactive journey through the story of humankind, how we got here, our struggles, and what might be next.

We’ve been running for so long, from oceans to trees, from trees to the fields, from the fields to cities, from cities to space.

We ran from predators, then from hunger, then from each other.

We fought in deserts, on mountains, beneath flags we didn't even believe in.

We carried swords for kings we never met, for empires we never saw.

Crusades, colonies, revolutions…names in books, blood on our hands.

We crossed seas on rafts, chasing gold that would turn to dust between our fingers.

We ran into factories, into trenches, into wars we didn’t start.

We fought robots, aliens, the forbidden truth we never found.

And still…I run.

For fire. For money. For love. For something more.

For people who don’t know my name, for ideas that don’t know my face.

I fought for the industries, for the French, for the Americans…for every “we” except the “me.”

Where is my revolution?
